The U of I Spurlock Museum will have spcial 'Around the World Wednesdays' activity days September 30th-November 4th from 9:30am-11:30am. On October 6th the Spurlock Museum will open it's Fall exhibit Norht of the Northern Lights: Exploring the Crocker Land Arctic Expedition 1913-1917. Photopraphs, artifacts and documents will all be a part of the exhibit. This exhibit is free and open to the public during museum hours. Click Here to find out more.

Students and dancers are invited to audiution for the Chicago Festival Ballet's production of the Nutcracker. Auditions will take place at hte Laureal School of Dance October 17th . 1-:30 dancers ages 7-10 will audition. 1:30-2 dancers ages 10 & up will audition. Audition fee is $5 per person.
