The U of I Sousa Archives and Center for American Music will continute the display World War 1 with America's March King. This exhibit explores Sousa’s musical contributions to America’s war effort and how this music reflected the era. Exhibit runs March 17th 2014-May 6th 2015. On September 16th the Spurlock Museum will open it's Fall Exhibit 'Artists of the Loom: Maya Weavers of Guatemala. This exhibit of over 90 textiles celebrates the artistry of the Maya weaving tradition. The exhibit will be on display through January 25th and is free during Museum Hours. 'Around The World Wednesdays' at the U of I Spurlock Museum are back. Children and their parents can participate in culture based crafts and activities in the Zahn Learning Center.
