The U of I Sousa Archives and Center for American Music will continute the display World War 1 with America's March King. This exhibit explores Sousa’s musical contributions to America’s war effort and how this music reflected the era. Exhibit runs March 17th 2014-May 6th 2015. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-5pm. Closed during the noon hour. Click Here to find out more.

The DLO Musical Theatre presents 'La Cage Aux Folles'  as well as 'Big Fish' for it's 2015 Season. Tickets are $36 for Adults, $22 for Students. Second weekend show-only tickets will be $10 for Adults, $10 for students.

The U of I Spurlock Museum will open it's Spring Exhibit 'South Asian Seams' a celebration of quiltmaking in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh February 17th-August 1st. The display is free and open to the public during regular museum hours:

  • Tuesday: 12-5
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri: 9-5
  • Saturday:10-4
  • Sunday: 12-4
  • Closed on Mondays & University holidays

Parkland College will hold a Art & Design Student Juried Exhibition April 13th-May 2nd at the Giertz Gallery. Student artwork in two-dimensional design, digital photography, drawing, painting and more will be on exhibit. Gallery Hours are Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Saturday Noon-2pm.
